If you would like to join us on charter for several days throughout the year and/or would like to be more involved in the yachts crewing then please read on.

The costs of owning a £300,000 40ft flybridge motor cruiser are ever increasing. Lets do some simply calculations :-

Solent Charters Skippers Day Packages

Each skippers day package includes 5 midweek ( Monday - Friday ) day charters on one of our flybridge motor yachts. The twist being that a qualified skipper joins you on board and is there to help you helm the yacht for the day. They can take the helm completely with you and your guests simply acting as crew, or you can helm with the skipper there just for advice, reassurance and maybe some help in the marinas.

This is a fantastic way to hone your skippering skills as well as enjoying the Solent at a massive savings compared to owning a yacht yourself.

If you simply want to enjoy the yacht with a skipper doing all the hard work then all you need to do is help your skipper with lines and fenders, your skipper does the rest.

Skippers Day Package Summary

"Moonlight" - Jeanneau Prestige 36 flybridge motor yacht for 11 guests & skipper.

5 midweek day charters with you acting as crew with the qualified skipper supplied. These days can be taken in groups or single days, but no overnights on the yachts. 200 ltrs of fuel per day is included which is sufficient for day cruises in the Solent. Additional fuel used will be charged at cost. Use of Lymington marina berth.

Total cost £ 3000. Save £750 on normal day rates.

"Starlight" - Fairline Phantom 40 flybridge motor yacht for 12 guests & skipper.

5 midweek day charters with you acting as crew with the qualified skipper supplied. These days can be taken in groups or single days, but no overnights on the yachts. 200 ltrs of fuel per day is included which is sufficient for day cruises in the Solent. Additional fuel used will be charged at cost. Use of Lymington marina berth.

Total cost £ 4000. Save £1000 on normal day rates.
