Solent BareBoat Rib Charters

Solent Charters can now offer our pair of Ribcraft rib boats for bareboat charter within the Solent for clients with the necessary experience and qualifications. These 5.35m & 5.85m Ribcraft boats are MCA Cat 3R coded for 5 guests and available for both skippered and bareboat charters.

Bareboat Rib Charters do require a qualified guest to be the skipper for the day. This requirement is usually met by holding the RYA Powerboat Level 2 qualification and some local knowledge of the Solent area.

A popular route to chartering these ribs is via our own RYA training centre located within Southamptons Ocean Village marina. Students who have taken training at our sea school will be known to our charter team and they will be therefore be able to bareboat charter easily. Costing only £279 weedays and £299 on weekends.

Guests who are not known to our company can bareboat our ribs by providing qualification certificates and a signed summary of their Solent boating experience.

We also have 4 Ribcraft 6.4m boats on order for both bareboat and skippered charters which are due summer 2012.
