We have gained vast experience from maintaining our fleet of yachts, rib boats and all the equipment that completes them as fully licensed commercial leisure vessels. The safety equipment on board our boats is always very high on our daily checklists which includes several forms of lifejackets.

The RNLI has a catch phrase that says a "lifejacket is useless unless worn", we would go a step further saying a "lifejacket is useless unless worn & working". So we would strongly recommend a yearly professional lifejacket servicing and testing as well as then weekly user inspections.

Solent Charters is extending it`s in house life jacket inspection, testing, servicing and rearming services to both commercial and private lifejacket users this coming year. The service will operate via many main marinas throughout the Solent area, as well as via mail order and offers a 72 hour turnaround time for the majority of lifejacket brands.
