Lymington - The New ForestSituated in the coast coast of England in the county of Hampshire and within 4 miles of the Isle of Wight, the market town of Lymington has many features that attract many visits all year round. Lymington Town Quay
The quayside is a maritime heart of the town. With many boats and yachts arriving and departing daily alongside the fishing boats making their living from the waters of the Solent and Christchurch Bay it makes for an enjoyable rest with either a pint or ice cream in hand from one of the many local outlets. I took this very short video on my phone during a sunny autumn day.
Lymington MarinasLymington is served by 2 main marinas and the town quay areas. As you enter the Lymington River from the Solent you reach the Lymington Yacht Haven marina first with it`s fuel berth, visitors berths, bistro, chandlery and marine services. This marina is our "home port" and we can strongly recommend many of the businesses that offer services there. Take a look at our company index pages. The 2nd marina you reach on your up stream approach is the Berthon marina. A similar size to the Yacht Haven with it`s own fuel berth as well. The town quay ends your river trip with the ferry terminal on the opposite side of the river.
