Poole Harbour Rib Charters

A visit to Poole harbour on one of our charter ribs is a day you will remember for a long time.

From our base in Lymington to the mouth of Poole harbour is about an hour. This hour can be spent in several ways !
Why not learn how the rib works and help with the navigation, or just sit back and watch Milford on Sea, Barton on Sea, Highcliffe, Mudeford, Christchurch, Boscombe, Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs & then the entrance Poole it self.

With fantastic views of Old Harry Rocks and Studland Bay we enter Poole Harbour, the second largest natural harbour in the world (Sydney, Australia being the largest). The narrow entrance offers excellent views of the famous Sandbanks which has a fine selection of rich list occupants.

Brownsea Island

Now the harbour it self. Brownsea Island, a National Trust nature reverse is an excellent place to drop anchor for a spot of lunch. If the sun is strong enough then try a swim in the shallow waters around the island, or take the yachts motor tender to the shore for a walk whilst we prepare some Champagne and strawberries of your return.

We will take a slow cruise around the harbour passing the Sunseeker yacht factory and main Poole quayside before we head back to the Solent. If we have planned things well there should be time to call in at Alum Bay overlooking the famous Needles for a drink at anchor before return to our marina berth at Lymington Yacht Haven.

If you have booked to stay the night on board then why not enjoy the Haven Bistro within the marina and then a beautiful evening on our yacht in the peace of the marina.
